Circa 1885. The scent of magnolia blossoms welcomes guests to this brick Victorian that was the Nockels family home for 93 years before becoming an apartment building and now a quaint inn two blocks from downtown Carroll, Iowa. A true bed and breakfast, the inn serves gourmet coffee, an entree, breads, and fresh fruit in the formal dining room each morning. Sit by the fireplace in the living room with a complimentary glass of Iowa wine or an ice cream treat. Lunch and dinner are available by special request. Guest and common rooms offer hardwood floors and luxurious fabrics. Soak in your own whirlpool tub before snuggling into a king-size bed beside a fireplace in one of the suites or enjoy the tub in the Nockels Suite, shaped like a heart to add an extra level of romance to any getaway. Sample wines at the Santa Maria Vineyard and Winery located in a historic downtown building.

Adams Street B&B

My wife and I had an exceptionally good experience staying here! Would be my firsts choice in a heartbeat if ever visiting the Carroll area again. The room was gorgeous and the breakfast that Joan served was delicious! Stayed at several other B&B's and many hotels and resorts, and this accommodation tops the list easily...can't say enough good things about it!
