Description
Circa 1907. Four blocks from the plaza, a purple gate welcomes guests to this beautifully appointed inn, originally officers' quarters for Fort Marcy. Adobe Abode's sophisticated yet casual decor has garnered attention from a variety of national press. Ask for the Cactus Room for a pleasing combination of hand-loomed fabrics, white-washed vigas, fireplace, a private patio and oversized shower. For something different in Santa Fe, try Cabin in the Woods with Adirondack-style furniture and black-watch plaid linens. Enjoy the fragrance of pinon in the fireplace along with refreshments of Santa Fe cookies and sherry. Green chile souffle and homemade gingerbread muffins are breakfast specialties.
