Description
Circa 1860. Perched on a blufftop above the Pacific Ocean, Agate Cove Inn offers splendid ocean views in a two-acre setting of gardens and 100-year-old cypress trees. Most rooms boast stunning ocean views or garden vistas and have fireplaces and decks. Select from a spa tub, showers for two or deep-soaking tub. Down comforters and feather beds invite snuggling in the king or queen beds. TVs, VCRs and CD players as well as daily morning newspapers are additional amenities. Guests enjoy a full country breakfast with freshly baked muffins or the innkeeper's award-winning bread. Eggs Benedict, omelettes, French toast and other entrees are served along with baked apples, poached pears and homemade applesauce as accompaniments. The Farmhouse breakfast room offers a spectacular ocean view. Fine dining, hiking, art walks and other activities may be arranged with the help of the inn's knowledgeable staff.

Romantic Interest |
What could be more romantic than your own private cottage with a crackling fireplace and a two person tub? Beyond your private deck is a stunning ocean view. Our well dressed feather beds and the sound of the ocean will lull you into dreamland. |
What's Green About Your Inn |
We do recycle. We have our own water purification plant on premisses and our water is inspected every day by the state. We buy locally grown and organic when possible. We use shampoo and conditioner dispensers to cut back on small container waste. We irrigate with stream water. Have mostly fluorescent bulbs. Windows are double paned, most water heaters are tank-less. We give the option to "use one more time" guest linens. |
Describe Garden and Grounds |
Our inn and cottages are set on beautiful coastal gardens that are colorful year round. Fountains, bird baths and our little stream provide a playground for the song birds but our best water feature is the Pacific Ocean. |
