Description

Circa 1734. Gracing the rural New England town of Stow, this Massachussetts bed and breakfast is a 1734 center-chimney farmhouse that sits on nearly three tranquil acres of lawns, gardens, meadows, and woods. Linger over wine or tea and scones by the sitting room fireplace of Amerscot House Inn. Stay in a spacious, newly refurbished guest room with 700-count Egyptian cotton sheets, fresh flowers, antique furniture, decorative fireplace, complimentary WiFi and cable TV/DVD. Enjoy a full country breakfast with a hot entrée and an extensive buffet of fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade baked goods, cereal, granola, cheese, juice and hot beverages. Shop in nearby Concord or Boston and visit the many historic sites. Seasonally, canoe the Sudbury or Assabet Rivers and ski local trails. Pick fruit in Stow's famous orchards.

Arrive as guest - leave as a friend

Arrive as a guest, leave as a friend and be filled with the desire to return here again and again. This was exactly what we felt after our stay at Amerscot House. The beds were superb. Viki, the owner, pampered us with the most delicious breakfast and tried everything to make our vacation as comfortable as possible. Thanks!

Home away from Home -

It truly was home away from Home without the chores! From the room with a dream bed, to the incredible breakfast, and that mid-afternoon cup of tea that was so welcome. We recommend this Inn to anyone planning a trip to the area. Bill & M-L, Mission Viejo, CA

After a nine days stay.

The inn has its own charm. The beds are good, the breakfast is excellent and the hospitality is to five stars. We look forward to come again. Kirsten & Ove Madsen

Just Perfect!

Amerscot House has been beautifully updated in 2008 by new innkeeper. The attention to detail throughout the inn and in guest rooms is fantastic. The breakfast is of the highest quality - the fruit, the coffee, the bacon - just first class. If you're looking for a slice of New England history with a twist of luxury this is the place for you!
