Great place, lousy help
The facility was fine, it was the management that was lousy. I like the place, just not too impressed with the help.

Theft from a locked room
We stayed at this hotel in December 2012. While we were at the dinner, several items were stolen from our room -diamond earrings that were a wedding gift and therefore sentimental, my wallet was emptied of all cash, several lip sticks and lip glosses, and my sunglasses were stolen. We didn't notice the items were missing until the next morning when we notified the manager and called the police. The room was locked when we went to the party and locked when we returned so the police questioned the Antrim staff that did turn-down service the night before. The woman that turned down our room was suspected by the police but she would not confess. The police stated that she had criminal record. The rooms do not record entries, thus providing her an "out". At no time did the owner of Antrim address this with us however he asked the manager to bring the police officer to speak with him. According to the police, the manager proceeded to berate at the police officer for questioning his staff and threw him out via a back door. The police officer also said he was shocked at the lack of cooperation by Antrim and the façade the manager portrayed to us, pretending to care. We know that someone with a key to our room committed this crime and as far as we know, still works at Antrim. Over the last 8 years we hosted our wedding receipt and several corporate events as well as made many visits for overnight stays. This unfortunately incident has tarnished all the happy memories we had of Antrim and the many events we hosted there. We recommend that you find another place to spend the night until the ownership changes. A property that claims to be a luxury Inn should at least know who is working for them as well as support their guests when a crime is committed there.

No Better Evening Any Other Place
We love staying at the Antrim. Each stay has been wonderful from our room to the evening dinner and breakfast. New Year's Eve at the Antrim is on the top of our list, too. Couldn't have a better evening any other place!
