Adorning the historic district, recent renovations ensure modern comfort and conveniences while retaining the original coquina walls from the 1790 colonial house as well as details from the Victorian sections built during the 1800s. Gorgeous guest bedrooms and suites feature double Jacuzzis, candles, robes, personal products and a daily newspaper. Linger over a buffet breakfast; in the evening enjoy wine and dessert. The setting on the beautiful Matanzas Bay. Across the street from the sea wall, along which lovers can walk hand in hand, past the historic Bridge of Lions and the Castillo de San Marco. Every room is decorated with the theme of romance. Double Jacuzzis with candlelight, grand king and queen beds, and complementary wine is served in the room or on any of our porches, courtyard, gazebo or decks to sit back and enjoy the views of passing sailboats, dolphin, horse and carriages passing by. We are a full block away from the nearest establishment noise, so the experience is peaceful romance. |

1st experience at a b&b
My husband took me here for my birthday, I had always been begging to go to a b&b unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations. The room was alright and the hosts weren't to friendly the best part about our stay was the social hour the drinks and desserts were very good, the worst part by far was the breakfast it was the type of breakfast you would expect at denny's. All in all I would not recommend this place at all we were very dissappointed.

My husband and I have stayed at the Marin house several times and it has always been a pleasant and wonderful experience. Beautiful
