A Small Piece of Heaven

My husband and I have stayed at Bella La Vita Inn multiple times and have never been disappointed. When you arrive, you get to leave the "real" world behind for a time. We always get massages and feel totally pampered! The breakfast is to die for and you feel like it is your home especially when there is a warm cozy fire keeping you toasty. No matter what time of year you go, there is always something beautiful to see and experience!!

Quiet and relaxing

My husband and I stayed at Bella La Vita a few months ago and had a great time. The inn is just a mile or so outside the center of town which makes it really quiet at night - a definite plus. Lisal and Matthew are the most congenial hosts and put on a great breakfast. Tea was available anytime which is an added bonus for me. We definitely plan to go back.

country elegance and grace

This sweet little B+B is operated by gracious hosts Lisal and Matthew. It is a beautiful villa with grounds that welcome, and exemplify the charm of the Blue Ridge. The suites are very comfortable and the breakfasts are wonderful, prepared creatively with genuine care. These hosts are flexible and when we found this inn they renewed our interest in B and Bs. For the last few years we have avoided these places as there were too many rules and regs. At the Bella, you feel at home, away from home. The owners provide what you wish. The town has some fine restaurants, interesting shops and a lot of very good music. We have referred friends to the Bella La Vita Inn and their feedback has been stellar as well. LOVE Bella La Vita Inn

My husband and I have stayed here for a weekend getaway and an anniversary. Lisal and Matt are superb hosts. They go out of their way to insure your stay is comfortable and relaxing! The Inn is extraordinary and the breakfast is beyond amazing! We recommend Bella to EVERYONE! Cannot wait to return!

Comfort with a Home Spun Enviroment

This is what we found at Bella La Vita Inn. Lisal and Matthew are the best Inn Keepers, makes you feel like family, excellent food, comfortable rooms and beds, We have stayed at the Inn for the past 2 years in November meeting other family members to hug, laugh, talk about "remember when....", and just relax...getting away from the stress of everyday. We loved it and will be back this November for a family reunion...We can't wait.

My Time At Bella

As I drove up, the skies were the bluest blue and the flowers surrounding the fountain in the circle drive were smiling up at the sun. I was greeted by Lisal at the door, and Matthew wasn't far behind. As I walked in, I felt completely at home. Comfy chairs, a fireplace, coffee, tea, apple cake. Who could ask for more? And then I saw my room! Spacious, quiet comfort with plush bedding on my queen bed. Wonderful! Recommendations for restaurants were forthcoming, and I headed into town knowing Lisal and Matt would leave the light on for my return. Staying at Bella La Vita Inn in the little artsy town of Floyd was a fantastic experience. I hope to return again very soon!

Virginia with an Italian flair....

If Bella La Vita Inn is like a visit to Italy then we have been transported there by Innkeepers Lisal and Matthew. Our stay was so serene that we did not want to leave. The Breakfast at this B&B is unlike any place we have stayed. No muffin here, just wonderful prepared food. Always different and so filling. If you go away hungry, it is your fault. We will be going back in about (2) weeks for a family reunion. We are not biased, but these Innkeepers are our kids. An absolute DIAMOND in the rough

I stayed at the Bella La Vita Inn the weekend of Aug 17th the end of the summer '12. I've stayed at bed & breakfasts in the past, so I pretty much had an idea of what my stay here would entail. I must say that not only was I blown away from the actual property/grounds, but I honestly can say that the attentiveness from Lisal & Matt rivaled some of my previous stays at 5 star resorts. I don't even think I could pinpoint just one thing that they did to leave such a lasting impression on me beyond my stay. I mean they knew what they were doing, but I guess the main difference was just that they "cared". It makes all the difference between a good stay and a "great" stay, and I must say that they made my visit to Floyd "GREAT". This will definitely not be my last stay here, and I'm looking forward to visiting again. (FYI, you will be amazed by Lisal's cooking, definitely some the best I've had yet far!)

Weekend in the mountians

Fantastic B&B and Excellent Hosts

We've stayed here 3 or four times and love it so much I decided to propose here. Very warm and romantic atmosphere, and we love the hosts Lisal and Matthew. Stayed over Valentine's weekend and it was perfect!
