Description
Circa 1882. Built by Cedar Rapids brickyard owner, Philip Wolff, both buildings here were constructed with three courses of brick, resulting in 14-inch-thick walls. The gracious Italianate architecture along with a secluded location at the edge of a woodland, creates a magical setting. English gardens surround the old criss-cross wooden doors to the pristinely renovated Carriage House. The Belmont Suite, located in the upper floor, offers a walnut bed handcrafted in the Amanas along with antiques and luxurious linens. Breakfast is provided in the dining room of the Main House.
