On the Top Shelf!

This is THE inn to stay in when you're visiting Bath. While there are many choices in Bath, Packard House is understated in its elegance and the innkeepers are genuine and available. Amy and Mark are 'in the background', but their touches are everywhere. The inn is beautifully decorated for the season. Fires spring up in the hearth as if by magic, tea and amazing goodies appear at 4:30 every day and breakfast, oh, the breakfast! Attention to every detail is the hallmark of this inn and its quiet location on a side street is the perfect weekend or vacation hideaway. We've stayed here repeatedly, in summer and in winter and never been disappointed. It's about the small things as well as the obvious (beautiful antique furniture, good conversation and trusty local recommendations). We even got advice on a good realtor and we're planning on moving to Bath ourselves (we'll still take holidays at the Packard House!).

Breakfast Lovers Delight!

Amy and Mark Hraniky are wonderful hosts! The rooms are lovely; beds are turned down in the evening, a pitcher of ice water is on the dresser(and some chocolate covered Maine blueberries). If you need any info re: Bath, a folder filled with things to do and places to see is also convenient. Cozy! But the breakfasts! Oh my! You'll just have to experience them for yourselves! Oh, did I mention tea time at 4:30? After that, you can go to any number of Bath restaurants - all about a half mile away so walking is an option. A great place to stay!
