Description

Circa 1886. Go back to the farm for a visit and enjoy modern conveniences in Minden, Nebraska. Surrounded by meticulously cared for lawns and gardens, the inn offers four comfortable guest rooms with private entrances and bathrooms. Breakfast is a fresh and delicious event and dinner is available Thursday through Sunday at the onsite barbeque restaurant. You'll enjoy watching the ducks swim in the adjacent pond or playing with Buster, the resident dog. Each season brings a new attraction to the city of Minden. A prime bird watching spot, spring is especially busy with excitement for the sandhill crane migration. Labeled "Christmas City," the town courthouse is brightly lit by 10,000 lights and a pageant is performed on the lawn each holiday season. Historical re-enactments are popular at the Fort Kearny State Historical Park in the summer months. More than 50,000 objects celebrate Americana in the Pioneer Village and there's a museum, restaurant, and gift shop.

Would Recommend It Highly

We were guests at the Burchell's White Hill Farmhouse Inn in April and I would recommend it highly. Their bed was the most comfortable we have ever found when traveling and the breakfast was very good. We ate dinner at the restaurant and can highly recommend the smoked baby back ribs, the BEST we have ever eaten. The homemade bbq sauces are great and his rolls are the greatest. You will want more!!! We only wish we lived closer so we could sample everything on the menu.

Bobby Joe Room....

My husband and I spent one night in the Bobby Joe Room. We were on vacation and traveling to Colorado. Our room was very nice and comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. The breakfast at the Farmhouse was good too. Bob and Linda were very nice.

I've stayed here several times. So comfortable and great breakfast. Great food at the restaurant too!
