Description
Surrounded by a tranquil country setting, this working ranch graces more than 650 acres, located just one hour west of Houston. Exotic animals abound from American bison and Corriente cattle to llamas and camels. Picnic at the gazebo looking out on Enchanted Lake, ride a horse across the meadows and creeks, try catch and release bass fishing or sit by a pond watching ducks, swans and geese glide by. A seven-circuit labyrinth is in the Mystical Forest. A variety of accommodations include the two-story Texas Farmhouse, Log Cabin or Lehmann House with a clawfoot, antique tin or Jacuzzi tub. The Dog Trot House includes a pool, deck, patio and fireplace. Stay in the secluded Writer's Cabin secluded among the live oaks. Enjoy the smoke-free environment and a deluxe continental breakfast.
