True Romantic Getaway for Two

We stayed midweek 3/17-18/21. The cabin was an oasis I didn't know was still available in this crazy world. Check in is arranged via email &/or phone, so no personal contact during this covid concerned time. Everything looked so clean and new but cozy and intimate as well. The front porch had a glider for two. Opening the front door, soothing music greets you softly as well as a candlelight table for two. With a modern kitchen offering everything you need to never have to leave the cabin. There's a gas fireplace. Large bathroom beautifully done. There is NO internet or clear TV reception so be prepared to look at each other, talk, snuggle and get reconnected like you haven't in years. Quality CD, DVD players are available with a few selections or BYO. Owners Rhonda and Chuck are personable and responsive. Nothing is overlooked. Even with a pouring rain storm during most of our stay, it was delightful. So glad to have found this little slice of heaven in the woods.

What a Great Place to Shelter

During the Shelter in Place order, we wanted to experience something different. This is a hidden gem and a special treat. The cabin is cozy, clean, and secluded. The hospitality from the booking through the stay was remarkable. The stay was incredible and very enjoyable (even not having reliable cell service). Once I left, after a two-day stay, I wondered why I had not had that experience before, and was longing just to linger a little while longer...it was a piece of heaven on earth! Will definitely become a regular...

A Must Stay!

This is truly a wonderful place to go to retreat from the busyness of life, relax and reconnect for one night or several. The cabins are extremely well maintained and are stocked with all you need. The staff is wonderful and takes great pride in their work to ensure you have the best experience. We highly recommend Cabins and Candlelight!

Perfect Birthday Celebration!!

My wife's birthday is December 19 and all too often it takes a back seat to the Christmas celebrations. This year marked a very special birthday and I decided to take 3 days in the middle of December and really celebrate her. The really interesting part was that we were both not in the Christmas spirit and really not looking forward to the holiday. After our stay we not only had a great birthday celebration, but our attitudes surrounding the holiday completely did a 180. Thank you Chuck and Rhonda for a fabulous experience!!!

Little Bit of Heaven on Earth

The cabin was excellent in every way! Comfy, inviting and relaxing. Amenities were great, dinner we ordered that was extra for our anniversary was delicious and filling. Bed was great and for an older gal who sleeps half the time in a recliner, the choice of recliners was endless. Views were gorgeous and watching the birds and deer were special!

Delightful Romantic Stay… Again!

Cabins and Candlelight has been a wonderful retreat for us! A couple weekends ago we completed our third stay on the property and cannot wait to go back! The property is very private and beautifully kept, the atmosphere is romantic and cozy, the fireplace is warming, and the amenities are plentiful and nice. What a wonderful place! We can’t wait for our next opportunity to have our weekend getaway at Cabins and Candlelight!

Private Romantic Getaway

Very, very clean and stocked with all the breakfast items you'll need for a few days. One night is not enough, stay 2 or 3 nights to get the full relaxing and romantic experience. Morning coffee on the front porch watching the deer and wild turkeys go by was absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to visit again!!

Beautiful, quiet, restful. Evertime we visit we feel the stress roll off of us and can focus on each other. This last stay was our fourth visit.
