Romantic and Lovely!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Sam and his staff were so accommodating, and the breakfasts were to DIE for! Our room (the Lady Heather) was incredibly romantic. We had a wonderful time and hope to be returning soon. Thank you!

What a wonderful stay at this elegant and homey Inn. We were treated like family yet waited on like royality. Sam was friendly and helpful with wonderful wine tour suggestions and fabulous restaurants. We were given coupons for many things...all which we enjoyed! Romantic Getaway

Seeing the Inn at the end of the street is wonderful. Surrounded by huge trees, you feel like the world's cares have been shut out by nature.Going to the Candlelight Inn is like visiting friends rather than renting a room. The staff is cheerful and helpful...wonderful people. Breakfasts are an absolute event each morning. Be sure to get up for it.

Wine Country HQ

The Candlelight is a perfect place to make your headquarters when visiting the famous Napa Valley wine country of California. The Inn itself, and its amenities, are all focused to accommodate the guest who is there to enjoy California’s wines and its famous wineries. The Inn’s proprietor, Mr. Sam Neft, was very cordial and knowledgeable about where to go, what wine tours to take, which routes through the valley to drive, and which wineries to visit. He enabled us to maximize our enjoyment of the Napa Valley and the wine tasting/touring experience given our limited time. We stayed two nights and two days. The simple road map the innkeepers provided was completely accurate and acted like a tour guide. The points of interests, the route lines, restaurants and wineries indicated on the map were completely accurate and trustworthy. We used the map—it was sufficient to guide us to exactly the right places to stop, without hassle and without cost. Other treats at the Inn included select wines to taste for free—we tried a Spanish red and an inexpensive Port one late afternoon—a refrigerator well-stocked with individually prepared plates of grapes, cheese(s), and crackers, as well as delectable chocolate cake, which satisfied the palate in the late afternoon. The Inn is roomy and the common areas are most comfortable. The breakfast each morning was most enjoyable, gourmet, fresh, and different every morning. They know how to get your day started right! The Candlelight Inn is the place to stay when visiting Napa. You must try it!
