Wonderful 2 Night Getaway
We had the pleasure to stay at this inn on 8/12. The antiques are so beautiful, through out every floor. The room we were in #6, was beautifully appointed, with treasures. The breakfast was served in magnificent dishes. The food was scruptious. The little homemade goodies in the afternoon, are just one of their many treats. The Innkeeper, Paticia was very warm and friendly. The owners were very interesting to talk to. I even bought Ellen's cookbook. Her husband Ken, is just fascinating to listen to his stories, about the sea. Cannot wait to go back, to this spectacular Inn!

Quick Get Away
My husband and I had visited Camden/Rockport area many times and had always driven thru Rockland. We read about the Captain Lindsey House and decided to try it. We loved it! We felt like we were at home. The room and bath were large and airy and appointed very well. The breakfast of our choise was cooked to perfection by our Inn Keeper Patricia and there were always snacks to pick from during the day. It was close enough to walk to all restaurants, art museums, etc. that we didn't get in our car until it was time to leave. We only live 2 hrs away and will definately be back.

Romantic Getaway
As a prelude to a sail on their son's boat, we had the pleasure of a two day stay at the inn. The accomodations were quite comfortable. The Inn is located within walking distance of almost everything in the village. Homemade cookies in the afternoon, and a glass of Port in the evening, when added to the gourmet breakfast put this inn in a class by itself!
