Wonderful Inn
This was our 3rd year at the Carisbrooke over Labor Day Weekend and we hope to continue the tradition. It is clean, comfortable, great food, and always friendly people. John does a great job making the guests feel relaxed. Chairs for the beach, beach tags, a delicious breakfast, afternoon snacks and bottled water are all provided for your enjoyment.

Best bed we ever slept in!
We just loved the place. It was quiet, clean, the service, food were excellent! I could not get my boyfriend away from the flat screen HD TV. We had the room with the view of the ocean. It was perfect!

Peacefule Pre-Labor Day stay...
My wife and I stayed for one night on the Thursday prior to labor day weekend. The Carisbrooke Inn is a nice, quaint B&B with a very helpful staff who tries hard to make your stay pleasant. In terms of location, this place scores big in that it is literally steps away from the beach. One downside, not at all the fault of the Inn, is that there was some demolition of an older hotel right next door. Apparently there are some condo buildings being built in the demolished lot so I would expect some noise during the day.
The Inn itself is charming; the staff provides you with a welcome bottle of wine and some housewarming cookies and brownies. The place however could use some upkeeping or touching up. Our room was clean, but the bathroom had some minor issues: the toilet needed some adjustment in order to flush, the bathroom faucet was loose, and the shower took a while to regulate temperature. On the positive side, the bed was comfy, had good air conditioning, cable TV and WiFi. Morning breakfast was good; the eggs, canadian bacon, toast, pancakes and fruit were fresh and above diner grade.
For the money we spent (we bought our one night stay on Groupon), and the location so close to the beach, we would come back.
