The most amazing place!!!!

The most amazing place!!! My family and I stayed at the Chalet of Canandaigua for two nights and we enjoyed every bit of it - from the idyllic surroundings, the breakfast and our amazing room to the lovely hosts Pattie and Margaret. As we arrived we were welcomed with a big smile. Our room was truly amazing as well as the rest of the house. We were presented to some dinner and activity recommendations in the area which we found really helpful! Every morning Pattie and Margaret served a 3 course breakfast and in the evening a dessert was prepared, very delicious. Their extremely cute dog, Sadie, liked to run around the garden while we got to enjoy the food on the stunning patio. No doubt that the Chalet of Canandaigua and its stunning and quiet surroundings is worth a stay next time we are in America!!! Sarah, Mette, Lars and Laura from Denmark 🇩🇰

Better Than We Ever Expected!

Booked this place to have a nice, quiet, comfortable, and romantic getaway. I chose this place based on the pictures and reviews. When we got there is was even better than the pictures or reviews indicated. It was very homey and welcoming. The hosts were amazing and kind and immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. They have also thought of everything and the room was loaded with the little extras that just put the cherry on top. We can't wait to go back in the winter! If you are looking to decompress and enjoy your downtime this is the place!

Returned after ten years - the Chalet is as wonderful as we remembered!

We stayed in the Balcony Suite for the first time on this visit. (On past visits, we always stayed in the Lee Suite but is was booked.) We loved the room - it is full of light from skylights and the bathroom is large and bright. We were anticipating gourmet quality breakfasts based on past visits and we were not disappointed. Each course at breakfast was wonderful - creatively prepared and presented. Subtle combination of flavors and the seasoning was always just right. And it was all Gluten-free! I attached pics of the main course on each of the three days. The food tastes as good as it looks. Can't say enough about Pattie and Margaret. They are wonderful hosts and chefs!

Romantic Secluded piece of heaven

We loved the showers for two and the romantic fireplaces. The food was to die for! The innkeepers made you feel like you were royalty! Took a romantic walk around the grounds and had a great dinner. We enjoyed a terrific dessert by the fireplace. Our favorite dessert was the triple berry blossom tart! The decor made you feel like you were in a five star hotel in the middle of the woods! We cant wait to go back and bring friends.

Romantic and beyond!

Romantic doesn't begin to capture the wonderful ambiance of the Chalet of Canandaigua! The cracklin fireplace, the smell of fresh baked goodies, the softly falling snow, the soft background music, the lovely flowers - comfy beds, warm bathroom floors, giant soaking tubs - who could ask for more? Our stay was memorable, relaxing, romatic and rejuvenating and the food was fantastic - thanks so much for everything we had a truly memorable experience! Dianne Manfredini and Ken Deppen. A cut above the rest

My wife and I visited this area of New York from the UK mainly because we liked the look of The Chalet from the website. The gourmet breakfasts made fresh each day are incredible and the hosts understand how to make your stay special. Set in beautiful grounds with excellent views on all sides, it is hard to imagine how much better this could be. The lovely town is only a short drive away but the temptation to stay in and around The Chalet and enjoy it's ambiance and warmth to make the most of your time is strong. We will be coming back and also recommending in the highest possible terms. Thank you so much P&M

Very Romantic Escape

My husband and I stayed at the Chalet after we found the website on the internet. It was a fantastic and very romantic escape for us. We can't say enough good things about the Chalet. From the wonderful innkeepers, the beautiful suites, the fantastic food and the lovely surroundings if you are looking to get away from it all with your partner we highly recommend you stay at the Chalet!

Romantic

My husband and I visited the Chalet for our first wedding anniversary. When we entered our room we had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us which led to a very romantic night. Also, we both received massages in our room which was very relaxing. The two person tub as well as a two person shower was used quite a lot for a one night stay. We plan to visit on a yearly basis for our anniversary.

Romantic from start to finish!

From the attentive service to the attention to detail in the chalet, the setting and the decadent breakfast, this B&B ranks #1 for romantic weekend getaways. It is not inexpensive but is well worth it for that special weekend. Will definitely be back.

Great romantic escape

The Chalet was more than we imagined! As a getaway from everyday busy life (and the kids!) this was perfect. Top notch service and accomodations - not your typical B&B. The room, grounds and scenery were beautiful - perfect setting for a romantic escape any time of year.

Perfect!

Everything is top notch, from the rooms to the meals and their excellent service. We enjoyed a creative Gourmet 4 course dinner by the fire. Followed by a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. Pattie and Margaret went above and beyond to cater to my dietary restrictions. Not an easy task but they made sure I have something to enjoy at every course. Wish they could cook for me everyday. We will be back to visit for sure.
