Wonderful Stay
Ellen, Thanks for another wonderful stay. As always, everything was just terrific. And the best part of it was the conversation at the breakfast table with our fellow guests. See you next year.

Hospitality and Ambience +
One of our all-time favorite Bed and Breakfasts that we found through I Love Inns, is the comfortably elegant Chanticleer, located in the heart of Ashland, Oregon within easy walking distance to town and the Shakespeare Festival.
The authentic Craftsman style home is authentically and tastefully furnished and set in the midst of lovely gardens with waterfalls and koi ponds.
Ellen and Howie’s hospitality is beyond compare! They obviously love people, and extend their gracious hospitality in many ways including port or sherry, fresh baked cookies, delicious breakfast, restaurant menus, the most comfortable bed ever, morning NY Times, safety features, inviting common room, a slenderizing mirror in our room and even sharing their paint colors I requested. They love the area, and suggested a variety of sights to see. We appreciated their recommendations to visit certain wine, cheese and chocolate shops, look forward to driving the “Old Stage Road,” and taking our grand daughter to “Wild Life Images,” the nearby rehab center for animals.
“It’s truly about the bed, the breakfast, and the welcoming,” Ellen offered. And so it is at the Chanticleer!
