Fabulous wINNter escape

Style, sophistication, and luxury are the perfect adjectives to describe this gem! Chatham Gables Inn was honored with a Preservation Award from the town of Chatham, and rightfully so! The mansion was renovated a few years ago, and it is stunning; nothing was overlooked! David and Andrea are gracious hosts, having the property for just over a year. Our room was Room 7, a King room, large, spacious, and bright! We especially loved the original wavy glass in the beautiful bay window overlooking the side garden. The tub is deep enough for soaking, and the bath salts were indulgent! We were fortunate to be able to peek at a number of rooms with Andrea, and each is beautiful in its own respect. All rooms are gorgeous, filled with aromatherapy spa amenities, period antiques, and exquisite bed linens. We stayed at the inn in January, and Cape Cod is chilly this time of year! The front room, called the Library, was the perfect spot to sit by the fire with a hot cup of coffee and be warm as toast! Breakfast is individually plated, most creative, fit for a King and Queen, and served with kindness! The Inn is within walking distance to town, and there were plenty of shops, restaurants, and galleries open to fill an afternoon of wandering the village in the crisp sea air. If you are looking to get away to the Cape for a night or two, or maybe even more, Chatham Gables Inn is Cape Cod's Top Pick.

Blissful

The Chatham Gables Inn is an absolute gem. The innkeepers, David and Andrea, are a delightful, warm, knowledgeable couple with impeccable taste as reflected by the exterior and interior spaces at their inn. The rooms are bright and beautiful with great attention to detail, luxurious bed linens, and spa inspired bath amenities. The grounds are lovely with happy gardens and a relaxing patio to sit and unwind with a good book, tea, a glass of wine....and freshly baked cookies. Blissful atmosphere. David is a fountain of knowledge about Chatham and nearby places on the Cape, as well as Nantucket. So is Andrea, though her great talent is also making sumptuous, gourmet breakfasts with a menu that changes daily. For those who prefer a lighter fare, Andrea will prepare an equally delicious breakfast. Staying at the CGI on a picture perfect fall weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday made our weekend in Chatham even more special and memorable. We certainly plan to return!

Lovely luxury place to stay with loads of character. Lots of beautiful furniture and antiques etc. Luxury room products and our steam shower was a real winner. Great service and awesome breakfasts that set you up for a full day out and about. Highly recommended.

Winter Escape

The experience begins with Andrea and David who are attentive and inviting. The Inn is historic and beautiful. The attention to detail is amazing. They shared with us that they make an effort to imagine themselves in each room in order to anticipate guest needs. It works! We were impressed by the furnishings and the cleanliness. It is wonderful to be in a place in which you are pampered but which also has the comforts of home. Breakfast is incredible - kudos to Andrea! She is a wonderful cook. The common areas are also warm and inviting with music, candles and a fireplace. Chatham itself has so much to offer. David and Andrea made wonderful recommendations for restaurants, hiking and other area attractions. We definitely will be returning! Marie and Michael

Romantic, Quaint & Cozy Inn

Chatham Gables Inn is, by far, one the most delightful Inn's my husband and I have ever visited. The quaint, clean and unique decor, design and accomodations are a complete delight. David and Andrea are attentive, considerate of any needs and unobtrusive. Our bedroom with the fireplace and sitting area was complete heaven on a cold, damp January night. The bedding, chairs and pillows were cushy and cozy, while the complimentary toiletries were luxurious. The extra living rooms, one with another fireplace, provided even more room to "hang out". In the back sunroom, flooded with light and New England decor, breakfast was in two courses; the fruit, cheese and procsciutto was a tasty whetting of the palatte to start and led nicely to the second course of flavorful walnut and orange french toast, eggs, sausage, and asparagas. The convenience of 3pm checkin and 11am checkout provides plenty of time to enjoy your mini-vacation. I'm so glad my husband chose this Inn for my birthday, and I let him know that I"d like to return next year. Peace.

Coziest Place Ever & Very Happy to Be Snowed In

My stay at Chatham Gables Inn was FANTASTIC. David and Andrea were extremely kind and welcoming. The breakfast each day I stayed was the best I've ever had. The plating was gorgeous and the food outstanding. Our room was beautiful and luxurious and the communal areas were extremely inviting. I normally don't feel so comfortable when traveling, but as I played board games on the couch, sipping red wine and talking with great people, I felt so at home. The entire place felt (and smelled) like a cozy spa. My boyfriend and I were supposed to stay one night but snow kept us there a second. I've never been happier getting snowed in! The Chatham Gables Inn was the best place I've ever stayed. I will definitely be returning!

Piece of Paradise

Stepping into the Chatham Gables Inn, brought an immediate smile to my husband and my face. We were greeted by Andrea with a smile as wide as ours. While beautiful music was playing in the background, she showed us around her tastefully decorated, luxurious Inn that is a true reflection of the care that she and her husband David give to this very special gem. Our room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you could ask for. David and Andrea really know how to pamper their guests especially with their to die for breakfast!!! Of the numerous Bed and Breakfast Inns we have been to, we would rate this at the top of the list!!! Thanks again, Andrea and David, for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

Absolutely.The.Best

CGI is a beautiful, charming, well appointed, meticulously clean house. Innkeepers Andrea & David are the most wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were fabulous - a different gourmet offering each morning. Wine, coffee, homemade cookies. Lots of luxury with comfortable beds and sheets, great products in the bathroom. We loved Room #1 with private porch and rocking chairs. A great bonus: so well located and easy walk to downtown Chatham. Cannot wait to return. Thank you Andrea & David.

Absolutely Perfect!

Staying at the Chatham Gables Inn was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. Our stay was absolutely perfect! Upon our arrival, we were met by the owner Dave. Shortly after he gave us a tour, we came to realize that he and Andrea must put a lot of hard work and effort into running this charming bed and breakfast. Tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and convenient to shopping made our stay an absolute 10! And the breakfast - Orange Walnut French Toast, Scrambled Cheddar eggs and assorted fruit was so delicious. Thank you Andrea and Dave - We will definitely be back! A romantic, special place...

My husband and I just returned from a seven day stay at the glorious Chatham Gables Inn. Everything about the CGI is remarkable. The charming innkeepers, David and Andrea, are warm, impeccable hosts who treat everyone with kindness. Both have a great sense of style and loads of personality. David is a fountain of information for all sorts of interesting places and restaurants to visit on Cape Cod, as well as Nantucket. He also takes care of the lovely gardens full of flowers, shrubs, and whimsical garden figurines....and he pours great cups of coffee each morning! Andrea prepares a creative, amazing breakfast every day of the week. Absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. She is better than most of the Food Network stars! The inn is a haven of tranquility with soft music filtering throughout the comfortable public spaces. The guest rooms are just stunning and tastefully decorated. And, the bed linens and bath amenities are luxurious! It is a joyful place to stay! Andrea and David live and lead a good life; and the love they have for their inn is reflected in their attention to every detail. We hated to leave, but look forward to returning again for a third visit. This is a very special place.

Nantucket/Spa Inspired - love it!

We loved our stay at the Chatham Gables Inn. The innkeepers have a tremendous touch for doing little extras that make such a big difference! The Nantucket touches and the spa feel, smell, and touches were so relaxing. The beautiful grounds, fireplaces and the location were great! We walked to Chatham center and didn't have to worry about parking!

Fabulous inn, fabulous hosts

The inn is located just a two minute drive to the Chatham shopping area. We stayed in the "Nantucket " room, a lovely, spotless, spacious and well appointed room. It comes with a private entrance and a small private garden spot. Great for the perfect relaxing vacation. The hosts were extremely accommodating and gracious as were the staff. We will certainly return.

Romantic European Style

Chatham Gables Inn was total old world charm. Highly recommend the Nantucket suite and other family stayed in Madaket which was also nice. Andrea and David were available to give last minute tips or share beach chairs but without being intrusive. The location is great; within walking distance of running, town center, etc. The breakfast was gourmet quality with fresh, healthy ingredients and other options like yogurt and oatmeal. We were there a whole week and left with intentions to return.

We love Chatham Gables Inn!

To celebrate our wedding anniversary, we decided to get away to Cape Cod for a little vacation. Andrea and David’s genuinely warm welcome was a perfect start to our trip! A former sea captain’s home, Chatham Gables Inn is lovely with a strong historic feeling. Our room, The Great Point, was wonderful; bright and spacious, and replete with fabulous bed linens and exhilarating fragrances. We can’t wait to visit again!

A Charming Boutique Bed and (Delicious Gourmet) Breakfast Inn in Chatham

It doesn't get any better than this...my husband Mark and I were completely delighted with Chatham Gables Inn! We arrived just after the 4th of July Holiday to find the Inn decked out in all it's Patriotic Glory... red, white and blue banners decorated the outside of the house and created the most welcoming of appearances. The perennial gardens were in full bloom inviting all eyes to enjoy their simple beauty, and the landscape was calling us to come in and rest for awhile. Several attractive outdoor porches, and/or patios were available to take that summer read to and relax a bit. Andrea greeted us with a smile as we entered, and stepping inside the Inn only improved our opinion, as each room was tastefully decorated with a classic Cape Cod flair. The breakfast room became our favorite place, not just because it was so cheerful and pretty, but every morsel of food that Andrea created was worthy of a 5 Star rating! Delicious falls short of our breakfast every single day. David was always nearby with a suggestion/recommendation for the day. A delightful couple in a delightful Inn in a delightful place! We will return.

FIVE STAR Property and Staff!!!

We stayed at Chatham Gables Inn for a few nights while attending a wedding here in Chatham. We could not have been more impressed with the beautifully kept property and clean, well decorated rooms. Andrea and David were so accommodating and super friendly at all times! It was an absolute dream to wake up every morning to the smell of a homemade (and incredibly fancy) breakfast that was served in the adorable sunroom that opens up to the lawn. Incredible attention to detail and we loved every minute of our stay here. There is no doubt that when we come back to Chatham, we will be staying here again!!! Thank you Andrea and David!

A perfect stay!

I wanted to find an ideal place to stay to celebrate my wife's birthday. Chatham Gables Inn turned out to be perfect for us. The whole setting is charming and welcoming. As my wife noted, Andrea and David truly have a great attention to details and provide top-of-the-line service. Nothing is overlooked. We stayed in Room 1 on the first floor. It's spacious, yet also cozy, and includes a nice porch with a couple rockers. We used the porch a lot. The Inn is well-located. We had a nice walk to Main Street and back via the water. Finally, we can't say enough about the breakfast. You're not just getting a bagel and a few muffins. We were served decadent french toast, plus scrambled eggs and maple sausage. One of our best meals of the vacation. Only regret is we only stayed for one night!

Chatham Perfection

We had two rooms at Chatham Gables Inn during my daughter's wedding weekend. Andrea, the owner, allowed the entire bridal party to come to the Inn and get ready on the day of the wedding and we pretty much took over the common areas. Love was in the air and all the other guests staying at the inn were very accommodating as well. I highly recommend this Inn if you want luxury amenities and true bed and breakfast special touches. I hope to come back and visit again soon!

Last minute Getaway to Beautiful Inn

Without doubt one of the most beautiful Inn's I've ever stayed in. My husband is not a big fan of Inn lodging, but he (and I) will certainly return here. It was absolutely wonderful, beautiful, impeccable accommodations. A very home away from home feel. Breakfast was so delicious and homemade by the innkeepers. Looking forward to making this place somewhere to visit on a yearly basis. The innkeepers make you feel as though you're part of the family, very warm and welcoming!
