Explore all of the nation's capital from a charming Victorian inn on Logan Circle. The house is dedicated to a "forgotten president" whose tenure was filled with courage and good deeds. The historical building has been lovingly maintained including the Romanesque Revival arch above the entry door, pocket doors, and handmade chandeliers. The two second floor guest rooms feature carved queen-size beds and decorative fireplaces. Delight in the Scottish flair of the third floor Highland Suite. The inn welcomes children six and older and a trundle or sofa bed is available in two guest rooms. Share tales of your travels while you share a family-style hot breakfast with other guests. Parking is available by advance request. The District of Columbia is a very walkable city; take a long stroll on a sunny day to the National Mall and surrounding museums. Access the entire city using the metro stations that are a short walk from the inn.

Historic Interest

Our Home was designed by B.B. Bradford, one of the important local architects, responsible for the creation of the look of Logan Circle, listed on the National Register of Historic places since 1972. The eclecticism of Victorian design is expressed by the mixture of styles: the rounded arch of Romanesque Revival at the entry doors;three-storied polygonal bay windows. Most details from the original construction of the home remain or have been lovingly reproduced
