Great getaway -- unbelievable structure. They are just not made like this mansion anymore.

Beautiful Views, comfort

The innkeepers (and assistant) were great, very helpful when we needed directions to restaurant and winery ideas. The American Clock and Watch museum is in walking distance, and we enjoyed the New England Carousel museum, a short drive away as well. Breakfasts were delicious, and we enjoyed the roaring fire during. Our room also had a beautiful view we enjoyed first thing in the morning and even at night. Gorgeous place!
