absoulute relaxation

We received a gift card for the Cliff Park Inn from our daughter for Christmas. So we decided to book it for our 2nd Wedding Anniversary.Let me tell you it was one of the best trips we have ever taken. From the moment we walked into the reception area we were treated wonderful. They couldn't do enough for us,you certainly didn't want for anything. The scenic views were breathtaking and the grounds were very well kept. Our room was just lovely, they had a bottle of wine in which we ordered ahead of time with a cheese & fruit platter ready to be brought up when we were ready. We had a private sunroom off our room which we spent alot of time enjoying the views from the many windows. We had dinner in the dining room that evening, the food was absoulutely excellent .I had grilled fresh swordfish, fingerling potatoes and fresh garden vegetables. All of which was cooked to perfection. It was the best swordfish dinner I have ever had.My husband had a strip steak dinner which he enjoyed very much. After dinner we sat out on the front porch in the rocking chairs until it was too dark to see anything. When morning came we took ourselves down to the dining room where we were served a country breakfast with nothing but fresh made items. From the juice to the breakfast meats, muffins, eggs, everything tasted wonderful. We took a walk on one of their many trails,we saw waterfalls in many locations and the trails were very easy to follow.I highly recommend if your looking for a serene place to relax,or a place to play golf,or take a long walk, or just to have a great dinner. This place has it all. It's a must.
