Description

Circa 1889. Originally built as a single-story home, this Victorian inn was renovated in the early 1900s and then restored in the early 2000s to become the charming respite that it is today. The exterior paint matches original and period colors. If you want privacy, the Visiting Parson's Room has an entrance off the front porch, or consider booking The Library Room with its sitting area in the second floor turret. All six guest rooms have a queen-size bed and private bathroom. The ceiling fan on the upper porch will keep you comfortable during the warmer months. Spend a few hours relaxing on a swing under the crepe myrtle tree and watch for the squirrel in the pecan tree next door; he tried to make a home in the turret before moving to more comfortable surroundings.Only two blocks from the historic downtown, the inn is within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Wonderful Experience!!

We have never rested so well on vacation! The beds were so comfortable, the breakfast was wonderful, the house was beautiful and sparkling clean. We loved being able to walk to the museums, shops and restaurant. The Innkeepers told us of upcoming events, and helped with things to do in the area. We couldn't have asked for more.

Best B & B in the South

I knew I was in the right place when I met Diane, the owner. She showed me what southern hospitality is all about. The food was superb. I was spoiled and pampered. The rooms had a southern charm yet quiet and comfortable. I would recomment this Inn to anyone needed some serious R & R.

An Unexpected Pleasure

We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and made the 70 mile trip to Columbiana for an overnight getaway for our 25th anniversary. We did not know what to expect. We had the best time ever in a wonderful and historic inn run by two great and hospitable hosts! We will definitely be back. Breakfast was great. The town was great. Our best anniversary yet!

Southern Hospitality at it's finest

This is one of the best, if not THE best Bed & Breakfast I've ever stayed at! The hospitality, the food, and the house itself were absolutely wonderful. My husband and I recently stayed at the Columbiana Inn Bed & Breakfast this past weekend to celebrate our two year wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. It was my hubby's first time staying in one, and by the time he left he said he now knows why I love them so much. Diane and Andrew, who own and run the B&B, made us feel like family. They were very accommodating (with our check in time, providing robes, and even baking us chewy chocolate cake we got to eat in bed with a glass of milk!) They even have a separate refrigerator stocked with goodies and drinks for guests to treat themselves to at any time. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. Diane makes everything from scratch and presentation is 4 star restaurant quality. The bedrooms are decorated with antiques, the sheets were crisp and clean, the mattress was very comfortable, and they even offered direct TV and wifi in our rooms (free), which hubby loved. Diane and Andrew made this experience one of the best, and we plan to be back! 5 star all the way.

Back home again

My wife and I just spent three nights at the Columbiana Inn and just loved it. I was coming home after quite a while and knowing that this Inn is here will have me coming back more often. The Inn was immaculately clean and well appointed. All of the plumbing, electrical and technology was modern and worked beautifully. The owners made us feel like family and enhanced our stay.
