The Perfect Intimate Getaway
This was our first stay at the Cottage Grove Inn and we found it to be the perfect intimate getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Upon entering our cottage we found a note wishing us a Happy Anniversary and a bottle of champagne. We also found our cottage to be immaculate and every detail covered from the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, wood burning fire place, comfy chairs to cozy up to the fire in, jacuzzi tub with bath salts, robes and slippers, to the art on hanging on the walls. We enjoyed the wine and cheese in the evening, sitting next to the warm fire in the sitting room. Breakfast was delicious with an array of choices to meet every ones needs and the staff was very accommodating and greeted us each morning with a smile. The overall ambiance is perfect as is the location, private and quiet, yet within easy walking distance to downtown Calistoga.
We have been home for one day and have referred the Inn to three friends. We most certainly will be back to enjoy another lovely getaway....maybe next time in the Fall when the colors are in full spectrum.
Thank you and the incredibly helpful office staff for a wonderful experience.

Incredible Experience
We stayed at the CGI for a few nights in Feb., 2013. While we had high expectations going in, they were exceeded...comfort, quiet, luxury, clean, friendly and most of all...romantic. You cannot go wrong staying there. Our only disappointment was having to check-out.

Charming and relaxing
Charming and relaxing, this property is close enough to the main strip in Calistoga to walk to shops and restaurants, yet ensures quiet and serenity by being tucked away and surrounded by greenery. The accommodations are individual cottages that include a front porch complete with wicker rocking chairs, wood burning fireplace, a large jucuzzi tub, a CD player, comfortable chairs in front of the fire, a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and a sink and mini bar.
There's enough space between the cottages to ensure privacy, although some are more secluded than others.
Breakfast is included as is afternoon wine, fruit and cheese. The breakfast during our stay included made to order waffles and fruit smoothies, quiche of the day, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, breakfast pastries, toast and your choice of coffee preparation - regular, decaf, espresso, lattes, etc.
Bicycles are available for use free of charge. Staff are very friendly, responsive and happy to assist with anything you need.
I would not hesitage to return.
