Circa 1880. Once a working farm, the grounds that surround this historic home still include the old barn and outbuildings. Spacious, comfortable guest rooms are decorated with an elegant country style. Todd's Paisley Room includes a masculine paisley comforter atop an antique high-backed oak bed. Stefanie's Quilt Room includes antique furnishings and a feather bed topped with a colorful quilt. The Rose Room, also furnished with antiques, is especially spacious and can accommodate up to four guest, when reserved as a suite. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafts throughout the house, a gentle promise to wonderful culinary things to come. The innkeepers prepare a variety of different breakfasts, each ending with a breakfast desert. One guest favorite is a unique tomato pudding that is served along with egg dishes, breakfast meats, orchard-fresh juice and scrumptious orange biscuits. Guests can stroll the 58 acres or take the short drive into Nashville where historic homes, Civil War battlefields and the Grand Old Opry await.
