Description

Circa 1900. The tranquil setting and warm hospitality found at this inn ensures a quiet getaway in northeast Nebraska. Stay in the main floor Garden View Room with a private entrance or in one of the second-floor guest rooms. A separate second-floor bathroom features an inviting clawfoot tub for soaking. The Suite is located on the third floor and boasts a sitting room in the turret. Pet requests will be considered with advance notice. Start each day with a satisfying breakfast before exploring the local surroundings. Festivals, parks, Boone and Madison County Fairs, and the Lewis & Clark State Recreation Area provide wonderful activities to experience. The inn hosts private events and occasions and also offers special packages.

Children are welcome, but the house is not childproof. There are many antiques and stairs, and there is no fence around the yard. Parents are responsible for their children at ALL times. It would be best to call ahead so that we can help you make the best possible arrangements for you and your family.

Cancellation

A 50% deposit will be requested at the time of reservation. Deposit can be with Credit Card or check. If paying deposit by check, the check will be cashed. There is a $30 fee for all returned checks. Credit cards (M/C, Visa, Discover) Accepted. Two weeks advance cancellation is required for full refund of your deposit. Between 48 hours and two weeks advance cancellation notice will result in an 50% refund of deposit. Less than 48 hours advance cancellation notice will result in a forfeit of your entire deposit. Fantastic Stay!

Truly enjoyed our breakfast and conversation. Such a relaxing setting. We had a wonderful steak dinner at Ya Yai's as well. Great morning walk exploring the town. We will be back!

Dream Come True

This was a dream come true to stay at a beautifulB & B. It is such a warm and cozy place to stay. Earl, you made us feel so welcome. Diane, we hope to meet you this fall as we will be back. Family Reunion

Wonderful Weekend

What a wonderful weekend for a quilting retreat! Diane and Earl made us feel right at home. This is a very peaceful and quiet setting to enjoy the small town atmosphere. The accomadations were very comfortable and the meals were delicious!!! It was great to get away from the hussle and bussle of home and enjoy our favorite hobby! The claw foot tub was a great way to relax and soothe away the tension for the weekend. We will be back again.
