Edward McColgan
Description
Circa 1780. Fresh raspberries and blueberries are harvested each season at this 200-year-old working farm. Innkeeper Ed McColgan produces 250 gallons of maple syrup each year in the farm's sugar house, and cattle and sheep also are raised. The farm house itself is decorated in colonial furnishings. Cummington has a special fair each August and nearby Worthington holds a balloon festival in the fall. Other local attractions include the Hill Gallery, which offers a variety of pottery and paintings by local artists.
