Devon Glenn grew up in Orange County, California, where the beach was a lifestyle and skyscrapers and subways existed only in films.  She studied music at Pepperdine University (B.A. 2001) and Cal State Fullerton (M.M. 2006) before the lure of big publishing houses and Carnegie Hall took her to New York City.  Her articles on the performing arts, books and travel have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register, and Kirkus Book Reviews.  She starting writing for iloveinns.com in 2007 and spends her weekends exploring the many historic bed and breakfasts along the East Coast, where she loves to watch the snow falling on sandy beaches.
