Lovely Stay Get Away for Business or Pleasure

There are several room options from which to choose. I usually stay in either the King or the Queen room. There are larger rooms, too, I believe. My employer has a location in Washington which is why I travel there for business from time to time. Attractive, clean and charming rooms. Great location across from a park, walk to area eateries, including their excellent Italian restaurant, Dodici's, and their charming coffee/gift shop downstairs. Those freshly baked scones each morning are WONDERFUL - and there are many coffee options, too! You can easily park close by, free of charge. I never want to stay anywhere else!

A Country Jewel

While meandering across Iowa on the Blue Hiways we found our way to the town of Washington. After a wonderful gourmet meal at Dodici's, we discovered their Inn above the restaurant. Modifying our plans we were fortunate enough to spend the night. The decor has a definite European flair combined with the hospitality Iowa is famous for. If you are looking for a romantic get-away or a wonderful night's rest after watching the Hawkeyes, this is your destination!
