Description

Circa 1924. This is a beautiful English Tudor mansion situated on a tree-lined street of Victorian homes. Well-chosen antiques combined with the innkeepers' personal heirlooms added to the inn's polished floors, sparkling leaded-and stained-glass windows and shining silver, make this an elegant retreat. Breakfast is served in the formal dining room. Fine restaurants, a water park, baseball, air force museum and theater are close by, as is The River Corridor bikeway on the banks of the Great Miami River.

This B&B is a jewel!

We stayed at English Manor in late June 2010 and fell in love with it. Julie was very welcoming and she took such good care of us; she is a warm conversationalist and an amazing chef - her cooking was SO good :) Julie and Larry treated us like family yet gave us all the space and privacy we wanted. This is a beautiful, impeccably clean & maintained, comfortable, historic, home. We highly recommend the English Manor ... it really is a 5-star B&B.

A beautiful and restful retreat!

We can't say enough about how welcome Julie and Larry made us feel in their home. They were a great combination of being warm and friendly without being instrusive. This is an absolutely beautiful home, immaculately maintained, with wonderful architectural details. (Scrumptious breakfasts too!) When returning to the Dayton area, we will definitely be back.

Perfect in every way!

The house was gorgeous (wonderful history and very well preserved), the rooms were immaculate and comfortable, and the service was impeccable. Julie could not have been more accommodating. The food was delicious, too! We look forward to our next visit. Thank you!

The Place to stay in Dayton

For an extended stay or a weekend at Wright-Patterson, this is the only place to stay in the Dayton area. Why you ask? One word, Julie. A marvelous hostess; great cook, storyteller and ready to make your stay enjoyable. A bonus is the beautiful small town of Miamisburg with it's vibrant main street
