Circa 1912. New Mexico history and modern amenities combine in a 100-year-old home customized into a five-star establishment by two Carlsbad natives. Three unique guest rooms suit whatever space you need for a "Pearl on the Pecos" getaway. The Foggy Mountain Suite is a spacious home away from home with a full kitchen, king bed, and doors that open to the garden courtyard. The Orange Blossom boasts a 1940s ambiance in two bedrooms and a sitting room. The Westphalia is an ideal romantic getaway featuring a king bed, original hardwood floors, and a private sitting area. So much more than just a relaxation spot, the outdoor hot tub has built-in speakers and LED lights that illuminate a waterfall. The locals love the Blue House Bakery & Café and guests will, too; a certificate is given at check-in so that guests may enjoy complimentary cuisine, pastries, and coffee in the morning.

Historic Interest

This beautiful home, now the Fiddler's Inn Bed & Breakfast, was built in 1912. It wasn't until 1918 that Carlsbad officially became a city. Carlsbad was known for being one of the earliest settlements in New Mexico with fire hydrants on every corner and residential electricity. It was a bustling community with over 12,000 cottonwood trees lining the streets. Now, we would like you to relax, and enjoy the aesthetic simplicity of our one-hundred-year-old inn.

Felt at Home

Thank you so much for a wonderful three day stay in the foggy mountain suite (I grew up living on a foggy mountain farm - how funny). Absolutely Perfect!

This Room is so Comforting!

My fiancé and I decided to stop into Carlsbad to see the Caverns last minute. We were so lucky & happy the Fiddler's Inn had a last minute opening. They were incredibly gracious & accommodating to our late booking. They wouldn't let us stay anywhere else, haha! The room is so comforting, after so many days of driving, it was perfect. This beautiful room was delectable! It was a wonderful way to spend our 1 year anniversary together.

We will definitely be back!

This was our first time staying at the Fiddler's Inn, and wish that it could have been for more than one night. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable- just what we needed after a long day on the road. We will definitely be back as we have fallen in love with this part of the country.

Wonderful Surprise!

What a wonderful surprise this B&B is! Very tastefully appointed. I can't tell you how welcoming the soft bed and real pillows were after a long day on the road and then after an adventurous day at the Caverns.

Peaceful Respite!

I opted to stay at the Fiddler's Inn instead of an over-crowded hotel while in town for training. It was so nice to have a peaceful respite in the evenings. Julie- You were great! Thanks for helping with the rate and for all of your helpful tips! This was almost like staying at a friend's house. The bed was super comfy- the towels so soft and the hot tub majorly relaxing! Awesome stay.

What a Wonderful Surprise!

I had been traveling for days, staying here and there. I had originally booked somewhere else, but it cancelled last minute. I found the Fiddler's Inn in a pinch and what a wonderful & pleasant surprise when I opened the door. It was peaceful, clean, super comfortable. Big thumbs up!

Perfect!

The Orange Blossom suite was perfect! You have out-done an outstanding job with everything. If we ever come back to Carlsbad again, we will definitely want to stay here! Your interior design is flawless. As a musician, himself, my husband loved the integration of the fiddle throughout. Best B&B we have ever stayed at. P.S. The Blue House, fabulous!

Wonderful Stay!

Thank you Tonk & Julie for the wonderful stay! It was so nice to stay in a room that felt like wonderful. This was a great way to spend our 1st anniversary together, and the personal touches were just too cute! I will be telling everyone I know about the Fiddler's Inn, and we will definitley be back. Lovely Stay!

We had a lovely stay at the Fiddler's Inn! The place was very clean and well furnished. The bed was awesome and the ice cream shop down the street was also great, and so was the Blue House Cafe.

Loved our Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Inn. Hot tub was awesome, even music, WOW! My teenage girls wanted to take the bed home with them, solo comfortable. Cute & beautiful place. Staff, very sweet.

Best Hotel Ever!

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! We really enjoyed the stay. It did not feel like we were staying in a hotel, but rather a home away from our home. What a great way to experience Carlsbad! The beds were comfortable; the kitchen was super convenient; the towels were fluffy and location walkable to the grocery store & places to eat. We'll recommend your B&B to anyone we know traveling to Carlsbad.

Impeccably Clean!

What a fabulous place to stay! The hospitality was truly gracious. The rooms were impeccably clean. The atmosphere is simply lovely. The food and service at the Blue House was fantastic.

Nicest B&B we have ever stayed in!

We were very fortunate to happen upon the Fiddler's Inn on our first night of an extended road trip. It is easily the nicest B&B I have ever stayed in- clean, comfortable, beautiful and well managed. We will most certainly be back!
