We love Fire Water Lodge!
We've vacationed a number of times at Fire Water Lodge in Truth or Consequences. It's charming, and Richard is a wonderful host. Most of all, the inn offers luxurious baths with water piped in from the healing hot springs that underlie the town. Hard to describe how relaxing they are. It's all set in a 1940s era "motor court" which has been lovingly restored.
The town has lots of art shops and galleries, fun shops, and good restaurants, as well as Elephant Butte Lake. The inn is right downtown, so you can walk everywhere. Perfect climate year around. It's a great place to go for an affordable getaway.
