Great Staff

Todd (we met him in the lobby) was wonderful and helpful! He gave us directions, recommended restaurants, and was very pleasant. We are astonished at how wonderful the Fitger Inn has been. Great customer service and beautiful accommodations. We both have fallen in love with the bed!

Enjoyed our stay

We came here for a mini-honeymoon and enjoyed our stay very much. The atmosphere was great and the dining was wonderful! Everyone was very helpful and courteous. Staying here was great and we will be back.

History

We stay at Fitger's because of the history. However we would like to express to management our sincerest appreciation for the respectful, courteous, and competent behavior of the staff. On Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend, we pulled up without a reservation and were immediately greeted and parked by Ben, your valet. Heidi and Erica were extremely polite in checking us in and helping with advice, directions, etc. for Duluth. You should be very proud of these outstanding employees.

Very quite

Your hotel is quieter than most other hotels. It's hard to beat Fitger's as a great place to stay...Compared to other lodging at Canal Park and in Duluth, it's the most elegant and relaxing place for a couple to stay without their kids.
