Description

Circa 1857. Located in the heart of a 50-block historic National Register area, the Florida House Inn is thought to be the oldest continuously operating tourist hotel in Florida. The inn features a small pub, guest parlor, library and a New Orleans-style courtyard in which guests may enjoy the shade of 200-year-old oaks. Rooms are decorated with country pine and oak antiques, cheerful handmade rugs and quilts, and 10 rooms offer fireplaces and six Jacuzzi tubs. The Carnegies, Rockefellers and Ulysses S. Grant have been guests.

Great Experience!

Service was great. Room was comfortable and had a big walk in shower. Breakfast was delicious. Bar area and service was excellent. Highly recommend. Beautiful courtyard too.
