Knickerbocker Mansion Country Inn | |||||||
Description
The historic, rustic log, main lodge was built in 1920 by William Knickerbocker, the first Big Bear Lake Damkeeper, as a private home for his family. It was converted to a Bed & Breakfast in the mid 1980's, and now consists of four buildings on 2.5 acres. 12 guest rooms are located in three of the buildings on the property. The Knickerbocker features ten standard bedrooms, each with private baths and queen beds and two large luxury suites with private baths, king beds, fire places and spa tubs. All rooms have TV's, VCR's, DVD players and private telephones. A separate conference room building is available for private functions. The fourth building is the owners (innkeepers) private residence. The property has a fully licensed kitchen. |
