Description
Mountain Meadows is located on five acres with a beautiful view of the Shawangunk Mountains and the picturesque Skytop Tower. On premises is a 20X40 in-ground pool, hot tub, patio (where breakfast is served in the warmer months) and lovely gardens. Our guests enjoy daily visits from deer, turkey and a wide variety of birds including constant visits by hummingbirds in the warmer months.
Mountain Meadows has four guest rooms, each with a private bath, a very large recreation room with a fireplace, sitting area, official pool table, a large guest kitchen and laundry room. While in the same house, our living quarters are separate from the Bed & Breakfast. This provides privacy for the owners as well as the guests. The owners’ quarters consist of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and a large master bedroom with dressing room and attached bath, a separate laundry room, and deck with stunning views.
We are located 2 ˝ miles from the town of New Paltz, 7 miles from beautiful Lake Minnewaska State Park, 5 miles from Mohonk Mountain House, and 4 miles from the “Gunks” (Shawangunk Mountains) which are world renowned for rock climbing. There are many fine restaurants in the area, many owned by graduates of the Culinary Institute of America which is only 20 minutes away. There are three public golf courses within seven minutes of the B&B, many wineries, a variety of historic sites, great antiquing, skydiving, hiking, biking, climbing and cross-country skiing within minutes.

Beautiful grounds and panoramic views of the Shawangunk Mountains provide the backdrop for our contemporary B&B, an ideal setting for nature lovers who enjoy casual and comfortable living. Guests linger at a full breakfast of homemade muffins, breads, enticing entrees, fresh fruits, juices, coffees and teas. After a day's activities guests can be found in the large in-ground heated pool or hot tub, playing lawn games or billiards, reading by the fireside, deer and bird watching, or wandering the grounds.
