Circa 1783. Four distinctive chimneys rise from the roofline of this three-story Georgian Revival manor on 11 acres. Recently redecorated, most guest bedrooms offer fireplaces and jetted tubs; two feature enclosed porches. Accommodations also are available in the carriage house and ice house. Formal gardens with a fountain are often the setting for elegant weddings. Try the Lamb Rack at the well-known on-site restaurant. Nearby activities include a museum, live theater, art center, historic sites and canoeing.

While passing through town and needing a place to stay we found this beautiful Inn (lucky for us). The rooms were clean and upgraded, with historic consideration. The breakfast room was very bright, staff was great, and food was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again.
