An amazing stay at the Four Oaks Inn.

Everything was perfect! From the moment we drove into the driveway, we knew this place was something special! The inside of the home was spectacular from the beautiful furnishings to the homes well thought out decor, no detail was left undone. The evening we arrived at the Inn,, we were met with soft glowing lanterns, a warm fire in the fireplace, and very friendly hosts who made us feel right at home. The home was very clean, the accommodations were luxury, and the breakfast each morning was nothing short of amazing! We will definitely be back.

Great overnight stop on our way to Hilton Head Island, SC

Our hosts, Janet & Steve went out of there way to assure everything was absolutely perfect for our overnight stay. The Inn was spotless, welcoming & very comfortable. The welcome refreshments & home made breakfast were beyond delicious. So many extra added touches (bubbly, flowers) to make sure our anniversary was extra special did not go unnoticed. The pool & grounds were beautiful, tranquil, & magical especially under a full moon. The private veranda of the Civil War room was an extra bonus especially given "Covid". I actually picked your Inn in lieu of a hotel. I am pleased to say that you did not disappoint. Everything was clean, fresh as i could see disinfectant precautions were clearly taken to assure guests safety. We had a lovely time & enjoyed our visit immensely! We thank you both as we will definitely be back for more than just a 1 night stay.

We've already booked again!

The moment we arrived at Four Oaks Inn, we were embraced by hospitality at its finest! Steve and Janet have created an oasis that's tastefully decorated, thoroughly cleaned, and there is this feeling of peace and retreat the moment you walk in the charming door. Our Steeplechase room had all the relaxation bells and whistles one could hope for including a fireplace, remote controlled candles, a recessed tv in a cabinet, a soaking tub, a coffee maker, a private balcony, and the best pillows and luxurious linens. Lets not forget to mention the complementary fresh baked cookies Janet made that I told myself had zero calories so I could have more than one. We woke the next morning to the most incredible five star breakfast, took a short walk afterwards to a historic site, and then spent the rest of the afternoon in their pool that was perfectly styled and magazine worthy. The recommended dinner places on the Four Oaks website made it easy for us to choose a place to dine that night and the gas lanterns and bricked entrance out front made coming in after dark feel safe and welcoming. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. It is truly something you must experience for yourself, but I will warn you that when you stay here, you'll never want to stay at any other bed and breakfast again

Four Oaks Inn - What an amazing Camden, SC getaway!!!

From the moment we arrived at Four Oaks Inn, my husband and I were treated like special guests. A cozy wood burning fireplace, homemade chocolate chip cookies and beautiful Christmas decorations, were awaiting us. We stayed in the Civil War Room - it had luxury sheets, our own Christmas tree, another fireplace, vintage civil war books on the shelf, and access to a large porch for cooling off after a hot soak in the clawfoot tub. The location was about 5 minutes to our favorite Camden restaurant as well. I couldn't wait to get back to the B&B, however, so I could curl up with a book in front of the fire. Our favorite part was the delicious breakfast. The table setting alone left me speechless...candles, silver, music...Janet is an excellent cook! I could go on and on about this delightful gem so close to Columbia and Sumter. I know we will be coming back as soon as we can. Thank you Four Oaks Inn!

Romantic weekend getaway

We chose this bed and breakfast for our trip to Camden to attend a wedding. The home was recently remodeled and done exquisitely. It has modern touches but still maintains its historic charm. They had everything you could need and we immensely enjoyed the peace and tranquility of sitting on the private veranda. We were pleasantly surprised by the romantic candlelit breakfast with a fine dining experience. The couple that own the place were so warm and inviting. Janet has a way of making you feel like you are visiting family but pays close attention to every detail. She served an elegant breakfast that was both delicious and beautiful. I would recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Camden that is searching for a unique southern charm experience with luxurious modern amenities. We will be staying again.

A++ Stay! No B&B Better that I have found

My husband surprised me for our 25th Anniversary and booked us a night at Four Oaks Inn in Camden for a night. I can not say enough about how pleased I was. We are locals and live only 10 minutes from this Hidden Gem so it was such a treat to not have to travel far yet feel like I was miles away from my everyday hustle and bustle life. Jan and Steve could not be more hospitable. They catered to Craig and I as though were were the only two people in the word. What a beautiful home and piece of property. This beauty is tucked away on one of Camden's finest areas and feels like you have stepped into a dream. They had us a bottle of champagne, homemade chocolate chip and walnut cookies, chocolates and the most lovely flower arrangement with flowers from their own garden waiting for us in our room. AND THE ROOM!! OH MY!! Every part of it was PERFECT. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was BEAUTIFUL right down to the huge shower and claw foot tub! Our room had double doors leading to a private porch overlooking some of the most peaceful views. And let me tell you, I never knew how good one could sleep with Black Out Curtains!!!! I will be purchasing some of these! The room was so tastefully decorated and so welcoming. Even had a fireplace!! The breakfast was one of the finest. We honestly felt like royalty from the fine china and silver to the home made scones and spinach Florentine. The ONLY negative to this entire experience was it was only one night!! BUT, now that my hubby found this gem I can promise you I will be back. Our stay was short so we did not get to enjoy the pool but the grounds were so breathtaking. Janet and Steve should be very proud of themselves as they have created a masterpiece. If you have not stayed here, I highly recommend you give it a try. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I see many "staycations" in the works. Thank you to both for such a lovely, memorable experience. Your home is so charming! And thank you to my hubby!

Breathtaking, Stunning, Relaxing, DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!

This was honestly the most amazing stay we have ever experienced! The Inn keepers were so inviting and took such wonderful care of us. When we arrived we had a tour of the grounds and were invited with fresh baked cookies and other snacks just for us. We also had a beautiful welcome note and bottle of Champaign in our room. The visit was so peaceful and relaxing. There were candles that were on the balcony and it was just amazing. We had such a relaxing evening. The breakfast the next morning was phenomenal. Fresh and homemade just for us. Raspberry and white chocolate scones, fresh fruit (strawberries were cut into flowers) and Eggs Florentine and sausage.

Engagement

Tucked away in historic Camden, Four Oaks is a historic Bed and Breakfast that is full of charm and hospitality. Janet coordinated with my fiancé to make a surprise engagement very memorable. We stayed in the “Civil War” room that had a luxurious king bed, Union and Confederate memorabilia, a double veranda set under large oaks, a large claw foot soaking tub, fireplace, and all of the details that made us ask for nothing except a phone charger that I had forgotten (which was promptly delivered by Janet). We were served complimentary champagne, chocolate, and a fruit, warm scone, frittata breakfast that was out of this world. If you are looking for a gem, a retreat for couples, or top notch hospitality, Four Oaks is going to go beyond your expectations.
