Cozy, charming, & a great location

I spent several days at this charming farm house B & B. Excellent location for hiking and fishing. Close to Sugar and Beech ski areas, Grandfather Mountain, and Linville Falls. It is located an easy stroll from the several galleries and the Old Hampton Store. The owners are warm and hospitable. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well appointed. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful. There is a wonderful front porch with comfy rocking chairs. Breakfast was delicious, gourmet, and healthy. They have the best coffee ever. This is the place to stay in the high country of North Carolina!

Exceptional place.

My husband and I had a great stay at the Gable Haus. The breakfast is fantastic and the place is unique compared to other B&B's. Its very peaceful. The Innkeepers have a genuine interest in what they do - they really enjoy it. We hope to return. Jim & Julie

Outstanding Inn

The Avery cottage was clean, cozy and well furnished for the Holiday weekend. The hosts are simply amazing and the meals were a real treat. Eric and Norma are first rate hosts in every way. We will definately be back.

Another Great Stay

I visited the Gable Haus last August and had a great stay. I just returned from my second visit and I enjoyed it even more. The gardens were beautiful and in bloom. Norma and Eric are great hosts. They have great suggestions about activities in the areas. The breakfast and coffe was exceptional. I will return!

Southern & European Grace

My husband and I spent a week in the Cherokee Rose Suite. After a perfect breakfast with gourmet coffee we toured the high country. Very good central location-close to the Blue Ridge Pwy. The new owners Eric and Norma have passion for their work and it shows in everything they do. Norma is an artist with an in-house gallery and many pieces throughout the property. It is easy to treat youself to a beautiful painting or object d'art. The decor of the Inn, the cabins and the English garden is eclectic eye candy.

Home away from Home

This is the first Bed and Breakfast my husband and I have ever stayed at. The stay was awesome! The owners are Eric and Norma the Breakfast along with the best granola you will ever eat with her fresh fruit and yogurt is out of this world. Eric can cook a wonderful breakfast with egg souffle, quiche and crepes! The coffee is amazing! We look forward to going back! A Happy Georgian
