Travelers Room

The Traveler's Room was so called because it was customary during the time that Nancy Jane and Hazael lived here for travelers to stop at strangers' homes and ask for a room for the night. A separate outside staircase allows our guests private access to this room. This was the "Bed and Breakfast" room of 1840. A small, exclusive deck with table and chairs invites you to sip beverages and relax while enjoying the glorious view of the back woods and the pool. The in-room bath features an authentic 1800's washstand with china basin. This room has its own refrigerator and coffee pot also.
