Description
Circa 1900. This three-story brick Victorian house boasts a turret and an octagonal tower with beveled-glass windows. The home is named for its builder, Thomas Galloway, the first permanent settler in the valley. Guest rooms feature antique furnishings and one has its own sun porch. A hearty country breakfast is served in the formal dining room. There is an acre of grounds with a hot tub under a gazebo and across the street is a park with a new swimming pool and tennis courts. The Weiser area is well known for big game hunting, pheasant hunting and trout fishing. The famous Old Time National Fiddler's Contest is held here each June. It's 60 miles to Hells Canyon, the deepest canyon in the United States.
