Favorite place in the world!

My late husband and I frequented Garmisch during our courtship. It is where we fell in love. He proposed to be at our favorite window table in the Pub in the Fall of 2005. We made the 7 plus hour trek frequently from Sioux Falls, SD. It became our 2nd home. The staff is so warm and welcoming. The bartenders remembered what we drank, when we first sat down. The burgers are some of the best I have had. You cannot beat the beautiful view of the lake. INCREDIBLE. I hope to find love again, and stay at Garmisch again. P.S. The Squid (formally INNSBRUCK) is romantic for a couple..We always stayed there. Christmas time is lovely, they decorate to the hilt. You feel like you are in a fairyland. I always felt such happiness every time we drove up to the Inn. A true north woods escape!
