Everything was wonderful at the Harrison House B&B

What is there not to love about this wonderfully welcoming and warm place to retreat to at the end of a busy day? We stayed for over a week and in that time came to feel we had hit the jackpot. The rooms are lovely, the breakfasts are artfully presented, healthy and delicious. The neighborhood is a shaded, green oasis within walking distance of the train station, North Central College, the Riverwalk, shops and restaurants and Starbucks (a favorite place for my husband!) Debbie, our innkeeper, made us feel welcome and accommodated our every need. One prime example of this was her hosting a family reunion brunch for us and it was a winner with every one of us at that gathering. She is amazing! We left for home feeling we had made a life-long friend and hoping that one day we might be able to return to this place.
