Circa 1842. Walk to the quaint center village from this historic 1842 Cape home that was originally a sheep farm and has been recently renovated to offer increased comfort. Lounge on the patio surrounded by flower gardens, ancient trees and the huge original barn. Relax or meet new friends in one of the common sitting rooms. Romantic guest bedrooms are furnished with antiques, luxury linens and feature a variety of amenities. Stay in a room with a brass bed or a Jacuzzi tub. Several boast views of Mt. Monadnock. Gather in the dining room for a daily breakfast of creative culinary specialties that is sure to please.

Historic Interest

The Harrisville Inn was build by Persia Beal in 1842 and was originally a sheep farm to supply the local woolen mills. It has been the farm for the nearby Aldworth Mansion and the first woman doctor is said to have resided here.

What a wonderful experience

The main things I look for in hotels or inns is clean and comfortable. This inn went so far beyond that. Breakfast was like a 5 star meal, but served in a wonderful country setting. Highly recommend this place!

love this place!

I have stayed there a few times - each time with other friends. We all agree, it is a wonderful restful place and a very good bargain for the money.
