Charming and Friendly
We just returned from a two-night stay at Hazelnut Farm. We stayed there with our 10 and 7 year old grandsons (who know how to behave), and they were welcomed by the other guests and the Adams.
It's a charming B&B with spotless, graciously appointed rooms. Beds are comfortable. Casablanca-style ceiling fans and open (screened) windows provide breezes. As a result, there is no air conditioning. Art and Susan Adams are friendly and helpful.
Our bathroom (we used two rooms of a three-bedroom suite area) was modern, bright, shiny, and spotless. Loads of towels and the usual amenities -- and plenty of counter space. Our suite also had a small refrigerator.
If you're on a diet, don't eat their breakfasts; they're multi-course and include scrumpcious home-baked specialties. Yum!
Hazelnut Farm is in the middle of an Amish farming area, so there's less car and truck traffic than would otherwise be the case. It's convenient to Cooperstown and Howe Caverns (and a host of other attractions).
Nice local restaurants within 10-minute drives. Ask Art or Susan for their recommendations -- you won't be disappointed.
