Circa 1894. Said to be the most photographed lighthouse in the United States, the Heceta Lightstation stands 205 feet above the ocean with a beam that can be seen 21 miles out to sea. Both keepers are certified chefs and serve a seven-course gourmet breakfast each morning. Also, be sure to ask about Rue & John, the ghosts rumored to haunt the keeper's house. Paths from the keeper's house lead to the lighthouse and to the beach below.
