Historic Interest

The inn was built in 1902 by Isabel Holden, the wife of a wealthy Colorado Springs businessman. Each of the guest suites are named for Colorado towns in which the Holden's owned interests - Aspen, Cripple Creek, Goldfield, Silverton and Independence as well as Pikes Peak, named for America's Mountain. Inspirational!

This place has given me so much inspiration! I will be thinking and talking about it for days. It has definitely brought back my childhood days of my great-grandmother's farm. Very relaxing! Excellent breakfasts. Everyone was very polite and friendly. This is such a beautiful atmosphere, I don't want to leave!

DefinitelyStay Again

The room is very comfortable, we were able to enjoy a soak in the tub one night. Breakfasts were wonderful and worked around special dietary needs and requests. We were only able to site with wine one night of our stay but a nice touch (the peanut butter truffles were delicious!) The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

A wonderful experience

Thank you for a wonderful experience! The suite was perfect for our needs and very thoughtfully appointed with every feature a guest might need. We loved the cozy balcony as a place to start the day or relax in the evening. The kitchenette offered a convenient way to bring along and fix picnics for our day trips. We also loved the beautiful parlor as a spot to read or watch a movie. The bedroom was also beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We also appreciated the delicious breakfasts and the efforts to provide gluten free options. Not all B&Bs provide GF entrees for breakfast and the special versions of your dishes, such as crustless eggs Florentine were very thoughtful.
