Description

Winner - 2018 Top 10 Most Romantic Inn - Drive through the gate, up the stately driveway, and around the fountain to this luxurious inn. Climb the grand staircase or take the European-style elevator to the five guest rooms, each named after a famous horse. The handsomely decorated rooms have private baths, king-sized beds, and views of the green pastures. Guests may board their own horse in the rustic four-stall barn. Walk through the lush fields or fish for trout in the artesian pond. The waters of the private salt water pool are inviting and refreshing. Start the day with a farm-to-table breakfast and end it by socializing or cuddling by the bonfire. Let the staff assist in planning an unforgettable wedding in front of the magnificent fountain, country barn, peaceful pond, or stone fireplace. Waverly, Georgia, is a short distance from Jekyll Island and St. Simon Island where guests can relax on the beach, take a sea turtle walk, play golf, and go fishing.

Cimarron

Calming yet playful, the Cimarron is a comfortable corner room with views of the front pastures, long entry drive and circular fountain. The sandy-colored theme with turquoise and floral accents surrounds the carved wood bed; could the sky blue colors and burlap trim be reminiscent of the American Wild West? Enjoy your luxurious shower and tub, walk-in closet and plentiful bath products. Curl up in a comfy arm chair for your afternoon nap. Turn the key and you can almost hear the mustangs running on the trail!

From Mary Ann

Dear Kris, Tom, and Anna I just wanted to say thank you again for such a delightful visit to Horse Stamp Inn this past week. You all were the perfect host and hostesses and made me feel like I was part of the family. Horse Stamp Inn is truly the prettiest and most comfortable bed & breakfast inns that I've ever visited. The setting is relaxing and pastoral, which will be a big draw for people who are trying to escape the madness and chaos of cities like Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Orlando or maybe just a hectic lifestyle in general. And I can't think of a more idyllic setting for weddings and special celebrations.
