Description
Circa 1917. A variety of celebrity guests have graced the halls of Hotel Vendome since its 1917 opening. Among them is famed western star Tom Mix, who starred in several movies filmed in the Prescott area. The hotel is listed on the National Register and offers guests a taste of the Old West. The rooms are decorated in country style, beds are topped with country quilts and windows dressed with lacy curtains. Some rooms include one of the hotels original clawfoot bathtubs. In the mornings, a continental-plus breakfast is laid out with items such as pastries, cereals and fresh fruit. The hotel is located in downtown Prescott, and guests can walk to some of the town's shops, museums, historic sites and restaurants.
