Description
Circa 1804. High parapets, internal chimney stacks, fanlight windows and doors are classic examples of the Federal Period architecture used to build this brick mansion house. Recently restored and furnished with antiques and reproductions, the inn sits on one acre in a scenic valley location. Enjoy home-baked cookies and a beverage while relaxing on the wraparound porch. Wi-fi is available for high-speed Internet access. Each of the large ground-floor guest bedrooms and a suite boast a private outside entrance and a porch. The Clara Barton Room includes a clawfoot tub and sunflower shower. Sleep well on soft, sateen sheets under a down comforter. Gather in the dining room for a multi-course gourmet breakfast. Rent bikes or enjoy a guided battlefield or cavern tour.
