Description
Circa 1819. As the innkeepers say, guests can come and "do time" at this inn, which was used as a jail as late as 1987. However, today, accommodations are bit less restrictive. Each of the elegant guest rooms is individually appointed. From the Victorian Room to the Garden Room, each captures a different theme. Two guest rooms include a double Jacuzzi tub. Only one guest room resembles a jail cell, it contains two bunks, as well as the more luxurious addition of a waterbed. In the summer, the full breakfasts are served in a courtyard. The inn is located in the heart of historic Bardstown.
